Opportunity: Stock Clerk Needed ASAP, A-PRO Aero Precision Repair and Overhaul
JOB TITLE: Stock Clerk
DEPARTMENT: 046 Stockroom
CATEGORY: Production Indirect
REPORTS TO: Materials Manager
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- A minimum of one year in stockroom and/or inventory control, preferably in related industry.
- Computer literate.
- Able to climb ladder for stocking and retrieving stock from shelves.
- Able to lift, support and move 40 pounds of weight.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assure that inventory received is properly entered into system and placed in stockroom.
- Issue parts from stock to shop floor personnel in the most expeditious manner possible to avoid any production delays or stoppages. Keep computer system current with issues.
- Maintain the proper level of shelf life items to avoid waste or shortages.
- Work closely with material planning to identify any parts shortages and to avoid shortages in the future.
- Responsible for daily cycle counting and once a year physical inventory.
- Work with outside auditors in annual inventory.
- Daily housekeeping of stockroom.
- Backup shipping and receiving as needed
- All other duties as requested or required by management.
Work hours are 9am-5:30pm
